You are embarking on a lifetime of fun, companionship, and love. Your actions and approach to pet ownership can ensure that this is a happy relationship, not an unhappy, stressful one. Cats make relatively easy pets, even for people with busy life styles. They do not require outdoor walks, and the training required is minimal compared with dogs. Yet a cat can be very affectionate and fun to play with, plus they can make great conversation pieces. Pet ownership has actually been shown to decrease owners’ blood pressure and increase their life span.

The staff at Cliff Lake Veterinary Clinic pride ourselves on our thorough discussion with every new pet owner about topics such as behavior, litter box issues, toys, cat-proofing your house and even toxic plants.

During your half hour free initial appointment we will answer all of your questions about raising a happy, healthy kitten.
